Primus Technologies Wins the Governor’s Job Creation Award for Central Pennsylvania.
We are pleased to announce that Primus Technologies Corp has been honored by the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry with the Governor’s Job Creation Award for Central Pennsylvania.
Nominated by the Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corporation (CPWDC), this award recognizes Pennsylvania employers that are exemplary supporters of workforce, community and economic development in the commonwealth, and which have created skilled jobs through Pennsylvania’s workforce development system.
CPWDC nominated Primus Technologies Corporation for its commitment to growth and investment in its organization, employees, and local community.

Since 1994, Primus has been a consistent, reliable partner of the PA CareerLink® Lycoming County, hiring candidates through various PA CareerLink® programs. In addition, Primus has consistently supported PA CareerLink® career fairs, industry partnerships, Manufacturing Day activities and participated in a Job Connections workshop as an employer speaker at the PA CareerLink®. PRIMUS has proactively partnered with local companies that have suffered job losses due to overseas trade or economic downturn.
During the course of 2014, Primus created 109 positions and grew from 418 to 527 employees. PRIMUS increased its total workforce by 26% throughout 2014 providing economic independence for families in the Central Region of Pennsylvania.
CPWDC also nominated PRIMUS for its investment of time and resources in the development of next generation of workers. PRIMUS understands the value of career exploration and works with local high schools and colleges. Primus is a corporate sponsor at Saint John Neumann Regional Academy where the company provides invaluable support to offer a variety of educational programs and activities.

Primus received the award on May 6th in Hershey, PA and during the acceptance speech Chris Sullivan noted, “This award is dedicated to the 527 people of Primus and their families who made this possible through their dedication and service to our customers.”
